Invisalign

Invisalign is a series of clear aligners used to straighten teeth and achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. Invisalign aligners are comfortable to wear, convenient…fitting right in to your busy schedule, requiring fewer appointments than traditional braces and are virtually invisible. There are no restrictions on the foods you are able to eat because you remove the aligners to eat and drink. With Invisalign treatment, it’s easy to make your smile picture-perfect for that special occasion. The aligners are made from Smart Track material which is clinically proven to improve control of tooth movement.

You will meet with our orthodontist for an initial exam and consultation. Together, we will decide if Invisalign is right for you. Invisalign clear aligners can treat a wide range of teeth-straightening conditions, including crossbites, crowding, open bites, gapped teeth, overbites, and underbites. Our orthodontist will map out a precise treatment plan, including the exact movements of your teeth and how long your treatment will be.

We offer state of the art, 3D computer imaging. The “impressions” for the aligners are actually a digital scan. No more messy, goopy impressions. During the impression process, you can breathe or swallow as you normally would. The 3D scanner gives us a 3D digital image of your teeth to use for your treatment process.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

Invisalign uses a series of custom aligners to move your teeth. Each aligner has a specific prescription built in to it and is prescribed by our orthodontist. Each set of aligners will be worn 2 weeks before going on to the next set of aligners. The total number of aligners is specific to each individual case and the amount of movement needed. You will be expected to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours per day, taking them out to eat, brush and floss.
